Mrs. Finley was born December5, 1915, in Trent, Texas and had been a resident of Mitchell County
County. She married Thomas Lester Finley on September 19, 1936 in the Landers Community. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1981.
She was a homemaker, a member of the 22nd. and Austin St. Church of Christ, the Landers Home Demonstration Club and a member of the Athenian Study Club.
She is survived by on son, Landus and wife Diana of Colorado City; one daughter, Juanell Cole of Denver, Colorado; two sisters, Dorene Walding of Peoria, Arizona and Ruby Jarrett of Midland; two brothers, Otis Adrian of LaJunta, Colorado and David Adrian of Petersberg; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Boles Children's Home in Quinlan, Texas.
