Donald Adrian of Petersburg departed this life on Monday, May 23, 2011 at the age of 93. He was born January 8, 1918 in White Flat, Texas, to Matthew and Tina (Copeland) Adrian. He married Marie Richburg September 25, 1940 in Loraine, Texas. Donald was a member of Petersburg Lions Club and former board member of Petersburg Co-Op Gin. He is a member and former Elder of Eastside Church of Christ in Petersburg. Donald was a farmer.

His memory will be cherished by one daughter, Donna Lyde and husband Larry of Petersburg; two sons, Larry Adrian and wife Sandy of Lockney and Mike Adrian of Petersburg; one brother, Otis Adrian of La Junta, Colo.; two sisters, Ruby Jarrett of Ruidoso, N.M. and Dorene Florea of Sun City, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Clay Adrian and wife Shea, Erin McEndree and husband Darryl, Adrian Lyde and husband Mark Temple, Ann Marie Adrian and Matthew Adrian; four great-grandchildren, Jackson, and Greyson Adrian and Maddie and Parker McEndee.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie on July 26, 2005; his parents; three brother; and four sisters.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Combest Family Funeral Homes in Idalou. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Eastside Church of Christ in Petersburg. Interment will follow at Becton Cemetery.
