She married Alonzo (Lon) Pierce Greear in Aberdeen, South Dakota on July 28, 1915. They were the parents of six sons: Melvin Alonzo, Donald Wilke, Kenneth Nels, Emmmet Clarence, Leo Milton, and Carl Alfred Greear.
Signa was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting and baking bread and rolls. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Alhambra, Illinois.
Signa died on January 24, 1990 in Highland, Illinois at the age of 93. Funeral services were held at Salem United Church of Christ in Alhambra, with Rev. Arnold Bizer officiating. Arrangements were handled by Dauderman Mortuary in Alhambra. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Edwardsville, Illinois.
