WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Virginia Pearl "Ginny" Sprenkle Brawner, 82, of 152 W. Main St., died Friday, Aug. 23, 1996, at Leader Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, Pa.

Born Oct. 1, 1913, in Washington Township, Franklin County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Jesse Diehl Sprenkle. Her husband, Chance Brawner, died in 1969. They were married in the early 1940s.

After her husband's death, she moved to the Fort Lauderdale area, where she worked as a practical nurse, retiring in 1982.

She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 1758 Ladies Auxiliary in Waynesboro.

She is survived by one sister, Ethel G. Brake of Waynesboro; one brother, Omar P. Sprenkle of Quincy, Pa.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Donnie Schrader; four sisters, Daisy Kipe, Ruth Pieffer, Ramona Martin and Beulah Chesin; and two brothers, Herman A. Sprankle and Lester J. Sprenkle.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Cumberland Valley Crematorium, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro.
