Mahala Emma DEEDS, 95, formerly of Macy, died at 12:58 p.m. Sunday at Miller's Merry Manor in Peru.

She was born in Perry Township to William David and Minnie Mae SHOEMAKER CLINGAMAN. On Feb. 12, 1919 in Perry Township she married Guy William DEEDS, who died July 5, 1953. She was a homemaker and member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Deedsville, and United Methodist Women.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John (Jean) SHEPPARD, Winamac; Mrs. Roy (Deloris) LOWE, Dunkirk; Mrs. Chester (Sandra) MILLER, Peru; four sons, Dale DEEDS, Rochester; Lyledean DEEDS, Macy; Guy R. "Bill" DEEDS, Macy; Jerry DEEDS, Macy; nineteen grandchildren; and thirty-four great-grandchildren. Preceding in death were a son, William Carter DEEDS; four grandchildren; two sisters, Nola KOTTERMAN and Mary WALKER and two brothers, Roscoe CLINGAMAN and Samuel R. CLINGAMAN.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, with the Rev. Robert LOUGHEED officiating. Burial will be in the Deedsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
