Anna Marie Gross, 80, of Aurora passed away on Wednesday October 2, 2002 at her home after a short illness. She was born on February 5, 1922 in Plano, IL.
Anna was a lifelong resident of Aurora and a member of St. Michael Church. She retired from Standard Grigsby after 20 years of service.
Anna will be missed by all who loved her, especially her beloved husband of 54 years, Louis Gross Jr.; four daughters, Susan (Gerry) Rosenberg, Maryann (Dennis) Nosek, Annette (Daniel) Cordes and Karen Gross; four sons, Louis (Irene) Gross III, John (Marge) Gross, Thomas (Kim) Gross and Richard Gross; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Steven (Betty) Batorson, George (Elaine) Batorson, Louis (Helen) Batorson; two sisters, Elorn Bieritz, Marge (Russell) Devick; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Batorson; and one son-in-law, Gary Smith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Julia (Sabo) Batorson; one daughter, Patricia Smith; two brothers, Joseph Batorson and Alex Batorson; one grandchild; and one step-great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 7, 2002 at 9:30 AM from the DALEIDEN LAKE STREET MORTUARY to St. Michael Church at 10:00 AM. Fr. Aurel Pater will officiate with Interment in St. Michael Cemetery.
