James Grubaugh, 63, Succembs at Home
James Arthur Grubaugh, 63, died yesterday at 9:50 a.m. at his home at 189 Lake Street of a stroke of apoplexy which he suffered Saturday night. Mr. Grubaugh viewed the Armistice day parade and was stricken shortly after he returned home. He did not regain consciousness.
Mr Grubaugh came to Marion 15 years ago after spending 11 years with the Wells-Fargo Co. at Mansfield. He was an employee of the Warner & Edwards Co. for many years.
Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Essie Bonham Grubaugh, a son Russell B. Grubaugh and three daughters, Esther May, Mary Rebecca and Martha Elizabeth, all at home, a grandson, James Shoots Grubaugh, a brother, William R. Grubaugh, and two sisters, Miss Rebecca Grubaugh and Mrs. Emma Gates of Mansfield. His parents and a brother, Dr. Robert F. Grubaugh, precede him in death
Mr. Grubaugh was born March 28, 1870, in Mansfield to James Wallace and Rebecca Chandler Grubaugh, natives of Ohio. He was married June 12, 1900.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church here.
Burial will be made in the Mansfield Memorial Park.

JAMES A. GRUBAUGH - Mansfield. Funeral services for James A. Grubaugh, former Mansfield resident, who died at his home, 189 Lake Street, Marion, Sunday morning following a brief illness, will be held at the home of his sister, Miss Rebecca Grubaugh, 392 West Fourth Street at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Surviving are his wife, Essie Bonham Grubaugh; three daughters, Esther, Mary and Martha; one son, Russell; a grandson, James; a brother, William R. Grubaugh of Mansfield; and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Gates and Miss Rebecca Grubaugh of Mansfield.
Services will be conducted by Rev. S.B. Salmon.
