William R. Grubaugh, 74, Stricken at his home
William R. Grubaugh, 74, former subdivision manager of the Mansfield Office of Aid for the Aged, died at his home at 701 Springmill St., yesterday afternoon following a heart attack.
Although Mr. Grubaugh had not been in good health for some time, his death was unexpected. He had been employed by the State of Ohio for 12 years. serving as an investigator for Aid for Aged before he became subdivision manager here.
He was Sept. 1, 1880 in Mansfield and spent his entire life in this vicinity. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church.
Surviving besides his wife, Elizabeth Kipp Grubaugh, is one son, Dr. Karl K. Grubaugh of Woodville, Sandusky County.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 pm at the Wappner Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. John C. Melchert of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church. Burial will be in Mansfield cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral after Sunday noon.
