MRS. LENA PAHL DIES AT CAREY
Passes Away in Mercy Hospital, Funeral Monday Morning

Mrs. Lena Pahl, 79, of 500 North Vnce Street, Carey, died in Mercy Hospital, Tiffin, Friday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock, after being a patient there nine days. She had been ailing for several years and for the past twelve days, had been confined to her bed.

Mrs. Pahl was born in Upper Sandusky, February 6, 1872, the daughter of Peter and Clementine (Zircher) Courtad. She lived in Wyandot County her entire life.
She was united in marriage with John Pahl, February 5, 1896. She is survived by two foster children, Henry O'Flahery of Carey and Mrs. Agnes Jacoby of Fostoria, eight foster grandchildren and three foster great-grandchildren also a brother and sister, August Couratad and Mrs. Elizabeth Greth, both of Upper Sandusky. six brothers and 2 half-sisters are deceased.

Mrs. Pahl belonged to Our Lady of Consolation Church of Carey, the Catholic Ladies, the C. K. of O. and the Christian Mothers Society of the parish.

The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9:30 from the church at Carey in charge of Rev. Ambrose Finegan. Burial will be made in St. Mary's cemetery. The body will remain at the Bristall Funeral home, until time for the services and may be viewed there at any time.
