b. 1 August 1893 d. 17 July 1951, h/o Wilma Medley, d/o Joe Washington Medley & Martha Catherine Sullins. Clayton Emerson Alcorn, buried in the Alcorn Family Cemetery, Putnam Co., TN, located on the Hopewell Road between Buffalo Valley and Silver Point. He was the brother of Thurman D. Alcorn who married Mable Ruth Medley.

Funeral services for Clayton Emerson Alcorn, 57, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Buffalo Valley Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Ralph Arbaugh officiating. Interment was in the family cemetery.
Mr. Alcorn died Tuesday at his home near Buffalo Valley, he was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Wilma Medley Alcorn; a daughter, Miss Josephine Alcorn; 3 sons, Fred, Lennox, and Kenneth Alcorn; a sister, Hattie Garner and 5 brothers, Lee and Thurman D. Alcorn, Buffalo Valley, Fred Alcorn, Shelbyville, Walter Alcorn, Clinton, MA, and Herman Alcorn, Smithville.
