COOKEVILLE Funeral ervices for Walter J. Alcorn, 80, who died Friday night in Cookeville General Hospital, were today at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home with Rev. David G. Campbell officiating and burial following in the Cookeville City Cemetery.
A retired printer, Mr. Alcorn was a Putnam County native and the son of the late Robert Lee and Josephine Jones Alcorn.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Ernest Alcorn, of Cookeville; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Garner of Cookeville; and several nieces and nephews.
Pall bearers were Neil Alcorn Sr., Neil Alcorn, Jr., John Alcorn, Wheeler Boles, Tommy Alcorn, and Robert Alcorn.
