Cecilia Prieur was born in Maple Grove Township on Sept. 28, 1909, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Tietz) Amman. On July 4, 1939, she and Elmer Prieur were married in Maple Grove. Mrs. Prieur was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Chiurch and its Altar Society. Survivors include her husband; four daughters, four sons and their spouses: Helen and Dale Gengler of Chesaning, Dr. David and Marilyn Prieur of Pullman, Wash., Ann and Gerald Gengler of Chesaning, Michael and Reba Prieur of Little Rock Ark., Emily Duby of Saginaw, Felix and Mary Prieur of Herndon, Va., Mark and Janet (Thiel) Prieur of Bennett, Colo., Evelyn and Richard Reinke of St. Charles; 25 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters and four brothers: Edith Labick of Flint, Josephine Cosco of New York, Bernard Amman of Lapeer, Brother Armand Amman of Notre Dame, Ind., Paul Amman of Montrose, Richard Amman of Wisconsin. Mrs. Prieur was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers.
