GENTILE, MRS. HELEN M., BURT, MICHIGAN. Passed away Wednesday afternooon, July 22, 1981 at St. Mary’s Hospital.Age 61 years. Helen M. Amman was born Mar. 28, 1920 in Saginaw and lived in the Burt area the past 30 years. She was married to Francis P. Gentile at St. Michael’s parish, Maple Grove May 2, 1942. He predeceased her Nov. 4, 1980. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Albee and a member of the G.M.Girls Club. She had been employed as a registered nurse at the Chevrolet Parts Plant in Saginaw for the past nine years. Surviving are three sons and two daughters, Joseph Gentile with the U.S. Navy, Chesapeake, VA; Carmen Gentile, Los Angeles, Cal; Mannie Gentile and daughter-in-law, Sherri Leach, Ada, Mich. Frances Gentile, Bay City; Marie Gentile, Detroit; four sisters and five brothers: Mrs. Edith Labick, Grand Blanc; Mrs. Max (Rita) Herman, Flint; Mrs. Elmer (Cecilia) Prieur, Chesaning; Mrs. Joseph (Josephine) Cosco, Utica, New York; Paul Amman, Montrose; Bernard Amman, Lapeer; Richard Amman, Madison, Wisconsin; Albert Amman, Ferndale, Mich, Brother Armand Amman, Kansas City, MO; a sister-in-law, Mrs Edward (Benitta) Amman, Redford, Mich. Funeral service will take place at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 1981 at the Krauss Funeral Home, Birch Run; 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Albee. Rev. Jack Gentner will officiate with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Albee. Friends may call at the Krauss Funeral Home, Birch Run, after 2:00 p.m. Friday, where they will meet with relatives at 7:00 p.m. Friday for a Scriptural Wake. The family will be present at the funeral home 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday. Those who so desire may make memorials to St. Mary’s Hosptial Burn Unit.
