Funeral services for Mrs. Sally Boyd, 72, were held at the Boma Church of God with burial in Crest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd, a native of Putnam County, died Monday in a Carthage infirmary.
She was the daughter of the late John and Hulda Thompson Jernigan. Mrs. Boyd was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, William F. Boyd; 2 sons, Clyde of Detroit, and Kenneth of Lexington, KY; 2 daughters, Mrs. Faye Beebe of Mason, MI; and Mrs. Sue Reed of Norfolk, VA; 6 sisters, Mrs. Vina Moss and Mrs. Virgil Beard, both of Chattanooga, Mrs. Mandy Maynard of Baxter, Mrs. Pearl Allison of Detroit, Mrs. Flossie Martin of Mobile, AL, and Mrs. Jennie Maxwell of Double Springs; and 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
