Died of malignant lymphoma at St. Luke's Hospital. Ed was baptized and confirmed in the Oak Mound Congregational Church. He was also church trustee for several years. He attended Oak Mound School. He worked for Standard Oil and at the power plant for the City of Moorhead for 23 years. Was on the maintenance staff at a college in Moorhead. Married Edna Rundgren in 1935. Ed's twin, Ethel L. Olson died as a child from meningitis and is also buried in Oak Mound Cemetery.

The funeral for Edward L. Olson, 72, 1316 3rd Ave. N., Moorhead, will be at 2 Thursday in First Congregational Church.
Mr. Olson was born June 14, 1902, at Kragnes, Minn., and married Edna Rundgren Nov. 23, 1935, at Sisseton, S.D. He had been employed by the city of Moorhead for 23 years, working at the power plant. He had also been a carpenter and, most recently, he had worked on the maintenance staff at Concordia College. He retired in December, 1974.
He was a member of the Oak Mound Congregational Church, rural Kragnes.
He leaves his wife; three sons, Dean, West Fargo; Daryl, Jackson, Minn., Dale, at home; a brother, Benjamin, 800 2nd Ave. N., Moorhead; and five grandchildren. (Wright)
