Casket burial. Buried in Oak Mound Cemetery on 12 Nov 1938.

Baptized in Stange, Norway on 8 May 1864. Came from Norway to Otter Tail County, Minnesota where she lived for 14 years. Married Alfred in 1889. Children - Alvin, Benjamin "Bennie," Olga, Robert "Bob," Stewart, Edward "Ed," Ethel, Milton, and Eben. She was a member of the Oak Mound Congregational Church and the Oak Mound Ladies Aid. (famous quote) ("Watch the bread in the oven, I have to get that pig butchered yet this morning.")

MRS. OLSON OF KRAGNES DIES

Mrs. Alfred Olson, 74, farm resident near Kragnes, Minn., for many years, died Tuesday in her farm home. Born in Norway Nov. 21, 1863, she came to the United States with her parents when a young girl, settling in Otter Tail county.

She was married in Fargo in 1889 to Mr. Olson who died Nov. 28, 1937.

She leaves five sons, Alvin H., Benjamin L., Robert E., and Eben S. M., all of Route 1, Moorhead, and Edward L., Route 2 Moorhead; one daughter, Mrs. E. O. Turing of Halstad, Minn.; to grandchildren, and a brother, John Nodsle of Callaway, Minn.

She was a member of the Oak Mound church. The body is at Wrights Funeral home, pending funeral arrangements.

DEATH OF RESIDENT OF VICINITY SINCE 1889 OCCURS TODAY AT HOME.

Mrs. Alfred Olson, 75, of near Kragnes, died at her farm home at 3:35 a. m. today. She had been in ill health several months.

Mrs. Olson was born in Norway, November 21, 1863. She came with her parents to Ottertail county when a child, living on a farm near Erhardt until she was married in 1889. Her marriage occurred in Fargo. After her marriage she and her husband moved to the vicinity of Kragnes where she had lived since. Mr. Olson died November 28, 1937.

Surviving are five sons, Alvin H., Benjamin L., Robert E., Eben S. M., Route 1, Moorhead; Edward L., Route 2, Moorhead; and a daughter, Mrs. E. O. Turing, Halstad; a brother, John Nodsle, Calloway, and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services have not been arranged. The body is at the Wright funeral home.

Sons To Be Pallbearers At Rites For Mrs. Olson

Five sons and a son-in-law will be pallbearers at services for Mrs. Alfred Olson, 75, of near Kragnes. They are Alvin H., Benjamin L., Robert E., Eben S. M., and Edward L. Olson, and E. O. Turing.

Services will be held in First Congregational church at 2 p. m. Saturday with Rev. C. T. Brewster officiating. Music will be by a Concordia college quartet which will sing "There Is No Night There," and "Den Store Hvide Flok." Mr. Frederickson will sing and Merle Nelson will be organist.
