The death of Donald Anderson, 50, has been ruled "accidental" by the Wilkin coroner according to Sheriff Ellert Wilson of Breckenridge.
Surviving are his wife, Alda, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Steiner of Fergus Falls, and the five children: Carolyn, Linda, Diane, James, and Mark.
Other survivors include three brothers: Herbert, Sioux Falls, S.D.; Kenneth, Breckenridge, Capt. Earl, Rapid City, S. D. and three sisters: Mrs. Russell (Myrtle) Torkelson, Vining; Mrs. Gordon (Lorene) Paddock, Cannon Falls; and Pearl, Minneapolis.
The son of the late James and Martha Anderson, he was born at Hettinger, N.D., on Dec. 10, 1912, and came to Foxhome at the age of seven years.
He had been active in farming despite an arthritic condition and was a member of the Foxhome Lutheran Church.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm. Friday at the Fox home Lutheran church with Rev. Kenneth V. Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the Knollwood cemetery at Fergus Falls.
Service will feature a vocal solo by Leland Anderson, accompanied by Mrs. Joe Houghtailing on the organ, and music by the ladies chorus.
Pallbearers are nephews Ronald Torkelson, Dave Conzemius, Vincent Nicolai, Martin, Eugene, and Otis Anderson.
Glende-Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
