LAURA ST. CLAIR
Mrs. Laura B. St. Clair, 88, died at 9:15 a.m. today at the hoe of her niece,Mrs. Merle Ochs, 713 E. 8th St. She had made her home with her niece for several years. She had been in failing health for eight years.

Mrs. St. Clair was a native of Monroe County, the last survivor of the family of ten children of the late William and Mary Rice Brown.

She was first married to Alaska Eaton, who died in 1902. In 1914 she was married to the Rev. Elmer St. Clair, a Methodist minister, who died in 1945.

She was a member of the First Methodist Church.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Ochs, Mrs. Harvey Brown, Mrs. Walter Herrin, Mrs Roy Stansifer, Mrs. Elizabeth Ridge, Hubert Brown, Erscell Brown, Chester Brown, Russell Ranard, Fred Hall and Oscar Hall, all of Bloomington.

Also surviving are two step-sons, Harold St. Clair, Fort Wayne, and Dean St. Clair, Louisville, Ky., a step-daughter, Mrs. Revetta Crecelius, Portland, Ore., and several step-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Day funeral Home, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday.
