Mrs. H. J. Hall of Ellettsville Passes Away
Mrs. Harroway J Hall, age 74 years, wife of Benjamin Hall, died at 10:30 a.m. today at her home in Ellettsville, after ten days' illness. Death was due to paralysis.
The husband is in a critical condition, having suffered a stroke of paralysis some time ago.
Mrs. Hall was a member of the Ellettsville Baptist church and the Eastern Star and Rebekah lodges.
She is survived by the husband, and daughter, Mrs. Frank Ridge; two sons, Oscar B. Hall and Fred Hall, of this county; three sisters, Mrs. Ben Ranard, west 7th Street, Mrs. Ab Howard, west of the city, and Mrs. Elmer St. Clair, of Bloomfield; two brothers, Emmanuel Brown and Luther Brown, both of this county; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Ellettsville Baptist church. The Rev. J.M. Caldwell of Crawfordsville, will be in charge of the services and Roy Freeman will be in charge of the music.
Pallbearers; Willie Brown, Russell Rapard, Orville Brown, Arthur Howard, Everett Brown and Ereel Brown, all nephews. Honorary pallbearers: Mrs. Lizzie Miller, Mrs. Ed parks, Mrs. Bud Stevens, Mrs, John Brown, Mrs. Garret Chambers and Mrs. Iva Stimpson, Flowernears: Mrs. Otis Fletcher, Mrs. S. E. McNeely, Mrjs. Oral Stimpson, Mrs. B. Harrell, Mrs. Belle Rice and Mrs. Earl Buchanan, all members of the Rebekah Lodge.
Interment will be in Rosehill and the Eastern Star Ritual service will be given.
