Willie Louie Rausenberger was born March 8, 1896 to Jacob and Emma (Grams) Rausenberger in Rosehill Township. He married Augusta Comnick February 24, 1924. The couple farmed in Rosehill Township until 1939 when they moved to Heron Lake. He did carpenter work until his retirement in 1977. Upon his retirement, the couple moved to Westbrook where he lived until his death.
Survivors are his wife, Augusta; two sons, Luverne of Okabena and Leslie of Glencoe; two daughters, Mrs. Ben (Lois) Viedt of Winner, SD, and Mrs. Robert E. (Lucille) Nelson of Minneapolis; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild; three brothers, Paul, Henry and George all of Westbrook; three sisters, Ann Lidtke, Mrs. Chris Comnick and Stella Jensen, all of Westbrook.
