Anna Lidtke, 101, of Westbrook died March 10, 2002, at Westbrook Good Samaritan Center.
Services were held Friday at Grace Lutheran Church in Westbrook with Rev. Roy Williams officiating.
Special music was provided by Betty Rupp, organist; "Joyful Sound" and Mike Foley, vocalists. Reader was Gary Lang.
Casketbearers were James Bevier, Charles Lang, Michael Lang III, Gary Lang, Michael Foley and Dennis Highby.
Honorary casketbearers were Richard Speidel, James Rausenberger, Delbert Jensen, Leslie Rausenberger, Vernette Passmore, Arlene Nelson, Elouise Busswitz and Caryol Einertson.
Interment was at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Rosehill Township.
Westbrook Funeral Home handled the funeral arrangements.
Anna Mathilda Rausenberger was born June 24, 1900, to Jacob and Emma (Grams) Rausen-berger. She was baptized and later confirmed at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Rosehill Township. She attended school at District 48 in Rose hill Township.
In 1920, Anna married George Lidtke at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Anna worked as a clerk in Westbrook.
Anna lived in her home until 1995 when she entered Westbrook Good Samaritan Center.
Anna was involved in Ladies Aid, So & So Club and Hospital Auxiliary. She was also a Gold Star Mother and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and VFW.
Anna enjoyed entertaining family and friends, and enjoyed baking, even ear ning the nickname, the "Donut Lady".
She was preceded in death by her husband, George; a son, Darold Lidtke, who was killed in action in Okinawa in World War II; six brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Ruth Bevier of Westbrook and Darlene (Mic hael) Lange of Roseville; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
