Mrs. Moran was born July 30, 1929, in Allenville, the daughter of Jessie James and Eva E. Clayton Abbott. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Sullivan. She married Alva K. Moran on Sept. 13, 1948. He preceded her in death Feb. 9, 1998.
Surviving are her daughters, Kathy I. Hall of Sullivan; Diana K. Davis of Allenville; grandchildren, Mike Probus; Amber Matheson; Danny Hall; Dana, Wes and Jerica Davis; great-grandchildren, Bailey, Moranda and Ayden Matheson; Phoenix Probus; brothers, Glen Abbott of Mattoon; Ted Abbott of Bethany; half brothers, Van Abbott of Mattoon; Doyle Abbott of Montrose; James Abbott of Arcola; Paul Abbott of Neoga; sisters, Beatrice Winchester of Allenville; Norma Sheets of Sullivan; Lois Abbott of Mattoon; Leta Davis of Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
