Norma L. Sheets, 82, of Sullivan passed away 12:58 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Eastview Terrace, Sullivan.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan. Burial will be in French Cemetery, Allenville. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Norma was born January 12, 1935 in Allenville, the daughter of Jesse and Eva (Clayton) Abbott. She married Phillip Sheets on December 5, 1968 in Moultrie County.
He preceded her in death in 2007. Norma was a Retired Certified Nurse’s Assistant.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Abbott of Centralia; half-sisters, Leta (Ken) Davis of Sullivan and Lois Pugh of Mattoon; half-brothers, Paul (Lisa) Abbott of Neoga and Rusty Abbott of Mattoon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters and 4 half-brothers.
