Alva K. ``Dude'' Moran, 87, of Sullivan died 3:45 a.m. Monday (Feb. 9, 1998) in Sullivan Living Center.
Burial will be in French Cemetery, Allenville, with military rites. Memorials: American Diabetes Association.
Mr. Moran was born in Allenville on Sept. 2, 1910, the son of Sam and Pearl Henry Moran. He was a World War II Army veteran and retired from Marquette Cement Co. in LaSalle-Peru. He married Bernice Abbott in LaSalle-Peru on Sept. 13, 1948.
Surviving are his wife; daughters, Kathy Probus Hall and Diana Davis, both of Sullivan; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
