Mrs. Pauline Jane Bourne, wife of James Bourne, died at her home 103 Cedar Street at 1:45 o'clock Monday morning with a complication of diseases being sick one year and one month. The deceased was born in Eden Township November 15th, 1855, and was well known in that community, moving to this city in 1886 and has since made her home in this city, making many warm friends. She was a faithful member of the United Brethern church for many years and was always willing to serve her Master. In 1874 she was married to Mr. James Bourne and to this union were born three daughters: Mrs. Walter Jones of Mt. Vernon, OH, Mrs G. Zinn of Newark OH and Mrs. Frank Richardson of Newark. OH. She also leaves to mourn their loss besides her husband, daughters and their husbands, two sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Martha Terman of Newark, Mrs. Eli Hampshire of St. Louisville OH, Mr. Alex Jones of Newark, W.H. Jones of Purity OH and Mr. C.B. Jones of Akron IN, besides grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the East Main Street United Brethren Church, Rev. A.B. Cox, officiating. Interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
