Mrs. Mamie Dell Zinn, 82, widow of Gottlieb Zinn, died at 9:45 a.m. Saturday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Florence Rodeniser, 404 N. Cedar Street. Her condition had been serious since Nov. 13 after several years of failing health.
The daughter of James and Jane (Jones) Bourne, she was born June 2, 1878 in Licking County. Her husband preceded her in death Aug. 7, 1950 and surviving also are another daughter, Mrs. David Hall of Newark and a son, James Conrad Zinn of Pasadena, Calif; also seven grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Zinn was a charter member of East Main Street Methodist Church, also a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. The Rev. C.M. Danford will officiate at services at 1 p.m. Tuesday in St. Paul Lutheran Church and burial will be in Cedr Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the Ross Hendrson Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday and the body will be placed in the church at 12 noon Tuesday.
