Death of Frank Jones
U. Frank Jones died at his home on North Street at 5:30 o'clock Tuesday evening, after an illness of nine days of liver ailment. He is survived by his wife and three brothers. His brother, C.B. Jones of Akron, Indiana was at his bedside. Funeral services will be held in the Methodist Church at Martinsburg this Thursday morning, conducted by Rev. J.W.H. Brown.

Frank Jones, aged 66 years, one of the better known men of Licking County, died Tuesday afternoon about 6 o'clock at his home in Utica. He was born in Licking County, where he had always resided, living most of his life near Martinsburg, where he was the owner of a large farm. About six years ago he retired and he and his wife moved to Utica, where he was well and favorably known, it being said of him that he was never known to say an evil word of anybody.
On January 4, 1972, he was united in marriage to Miss Martha Rine, who alone survives, no children having been born to that union. The funeral will be held from the church in Martinsburg, Thursday morning at 11 o'clock.

The funeral of Frank Jones of Utica was held in the M.E. Church here Thursday. A large number of friends were unable to gain admission. The services were conducted by Rev. Brown and Rev. Sutten of Utica, assisted by the local lodge of Odd Fellows.
