Mrs. Lillie Jones, 60, wife of Walter Jones, former Newark resident, died Thursday in her home, 208 West Walnut Street, Mt. Vernon, following several months' serious illness.
She was born Sept. 9,1876 in Licking County, the daughter of James and Jane Bourne, and made Newark her home for years before locating in Mt. Vernon.
Surviving are her husband and granddaughter, Miss Jeane Servais of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Mrs. Gottlieb Zinn and Mrs. Frank Richardson of Newark. Mrs. Frances Servais, daughter of Mrs. Jones, preceded her mother in death 10 years ago.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the home in Mt. Vernon and burial will be made in Mound View Cemetery
