Mrs. Hilda Katherine (sic) Peffer, Mechanicsburg RD2, wife of George Peffer, died unexpectedly last night in the ambulance while en-route to Carlisle Hospital. She was 40 years old.
She was a daughter of the late Harvey and Catherine Long Wolf and was a member of Carlisle Springs Reformed Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 11 children, Evelyn, Shirley, Betty, Doris, Joyce, Lois, Harold, Ralph, Marlin and Lloyd, all at home (NOTE: only 10 children listed); three sisters, Mrs. Stewart Ankabrandt, RD6; Mrs. Russell Cleaver, RD4, and Mrs. Ralph Goodling, RD2, and a brother, Marlin Wolf, RD5.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 in the Lutz-Hoffman Funeral Home, with Rev. R.R. Jones, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Holly Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow night at the funeral home.

Jones and Rev. Benjamin F. Lebo officiated. The pallbearers were Willis and John Shughart, Lloyd Witters, Parker Zeigler, Nevin Fought and Lester Hair.
