Bertha G. Cleaver, 92, of Cumberland Crossings Retirement Center, Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born June 1, 1914, in Carlisle, to the late Harvey David and Catherine Long Wolf. She was a 1932 graduate of Boiling Springs High School.
She worked in the orchards and Musslemans Co. in Adams County. She was a member of Barnitz United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell E. Cleaver who died on Oct. 30, 1996.
Bertha is survived by a two sons, Clyde L. Weaver of Carlisle and Robert L. Weaver of Morristown; a daughter, Marlene Fulmer of Carlisle; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a sister, Mary Goodling of Loysville.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Martin Wolf.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs with the Rev. John H. Kratz officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Barnitz UM Church, 23 Church Lane, Carlisle, PA 17013.
