Former Resident Dies in California
Mrs. Thea B. Stubson, 81, former Casper resident, died Friday morning at Pacoima, Calif., where she made her home during the past two years. She had been in failing health for the last three months.
Mrs. Stubson was born May 12, 1880, at Climax, Minn., where she was reared and attended schools. She and John Stubson were married Jan. 9, 1909, at Climax, where they resided until 1915. They moved to a farm in North Dakota, where they made their home until 1939.
After selling the farm, they moved to Seattle, Wash., to live for a number of years, coming to Casper in 1957. Mrs. Stubson moved to Pacoima in 1960, following the death of her husband here in 1959. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors are two sons, Benneth, of Pacoima, and Hillard of Casper, and three grandsons.
The body will be returned to Casper for burial in the family plot in Natrona Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are being made by the Bustard Funeral Home.
