N. J. Clark, 50, died at his home near Kelso following a heart attack Thursday afternoon, June 13, 1948. Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the Shady Grove Church by Frank Hirlston, with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Clark was a native of Moore County, a farmer of the Kelso community near here, and a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jennie Bradley Clark; two sons, Homer T. Clark and Alfred Clark, both of Lincoln County; five daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Arnold, Mrs. Ernest Branch, Mrs. Elisha Eddy, and Misses Erma Jean and Glyndon Clalrk, all of Lincoln County; one sister, Mrs. Della Golden; three half-sisters, Mrs. Mable Luttrell, Mrs. Bessie Laten, and Mrs. Jessie B. Golden, all of Lincoln County; and six grandchildren.
