Doris Glenda Brown, age 75, of Decatur, AL passed away Friday, August 2, 2013 at Decatur General Hospital. She was born in Lincoln County, TN on April 26, 1938 to the late Nogar & Jennie Bradley Clark. She was a former salesperson at Marks Fitzgerald Furniture and was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God in Decatur. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Carmen Delores Brown, son, Jimmy Van Brown, Jr., sisters, Gertrude Arnold, Helen Branch, Mattie Sue Steward and brothers, Homer Clark and Alford Clark. Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughter, Kay Cushman-Prewitt and husband, Carl Lee, of Decatur, AL, sister, Erma Jean Fite and husband, A.P., of Fayetteville, TN, and grandchildren, Aaron Bradley Cushman and Carl Ryan Prewitt, both of Decatur, AL. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m.
