Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Sue Stewart, age 77, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Sunday, October 3, 2004 in Lincoln Medical Center, were conducted Wednesday, October 6, 2004 in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Sonny Moore & Rev. Billy Moore officiating. Burial followed in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Stewart was a native of Lincoln County, TN, daughter of the late N.J. Clark & the late Jennie Bell Bradley, a nurse aide for Lincoln County nursing home and a member of the Cotton Mill Village Church of God.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her husband: Murphy Stewart in 1987, 1 daughter: Brenda Poarch, 2 sisters: Gertrude Arnold & Helen Branch; 2 brothers: Homer Clark, Alford Clark.

Survivors include 2 sons: Ray Earl Eddy of Flintville, TN, Phillip Eddy of Fayetteville, TN; 3 daughters: Patsy Colvard of Dalton, GA, Wanda Thompson of Mulberry, TN, Lana Brown of Lewisburg, TN; 3 sisters: Erma Jean Fite of Fayetteville, TN, Glenda Moore of Owens Crossroads, AL; 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren & 13 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Sue Stewart, age 77, of Madison Avenue, Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Sunday, October 3, 2004 in Lincoln Medical Center, were conducted Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Sonny Moore & Rev. Billy Moore officiating. Burial followed in Shady Grove Cemetery.
