Mrs. Helen Marie Branch, 71, a resident of Lynchburg and a former sewing machine operator for Wilson Ball Factory, died Monday (August 11, 1997) at Harton Regional Medical Center. A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Nalgar and Jennie Clark. Mrs. Branch is survived by her husband, Ernest Branch of Lynchburg; two sons, Jimmy G. Branch of Hazel Green, Alabama, and Tommy Branch of Lynchburg; two daughters, Barbara Ann Holt and Margie Marie Womble, both of Lynchburg; and four sisters, Gertrude Arnold of Park City, Doris Glenda Brown of Huntsville, Alabama, and Erma Jean Fite and Mattie Sue Stewart, both of Fayetteville. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Lynchburg Funeral Home with interment following in Lynchburg Cemetery.
