Tom W. Clark, War Veteran, Passes Away --
Funeral services for Tom W. Clark, aged 48 years, World War veteran, who died in a government hospital in Memphis Thursday night, were conducted Sunday afternoon by the Rev. Howard McGehee. Burial was in the Shady Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Clark had been ill in the hospital the past two months. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bonnie Syler Clark; a daughter, Miss Opal Clark, of Flintville; three sons, Cecil Clark, W. A. Clark, and Dale Clark, all at home; a brother, N. J. Clark, of Flintville; four half-sisters, Mrs. Della Golden, of Lynchburg, Mrs. Mable Luttrell of Hurdlow, Moore County, Mrs. Jessie B. Golden, of Kelso, and Mrs. Bessie Slayton, of Lincoln County.
