Mrs. Jessie B. Golden, 77, a resident of Golden Hollow Road, Kelso, died Tuesday (January 11, 1994) at Lincoln Regional Hospital after a long illness. A native of Lincoln County, she was a daughter of of the late Albert Alexander and Cynthia Lavonia Franklin Clark. Mrs. Golden was preceded by a son, Leon Golden, who died in October 1992. Survivors include two daughters, Miss Sarah Golden of Kelso and Mrs. Nina Ruth Warren of Flintville; four sons, Mr. James Ray Golden of Fayetteville, Mr. Kenneth Golden of Flintville, Mr. John Golden and Mr. Billy Golden, both of Kelso; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday (Jan. 13) at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Howard officiating. Burial followed in the Kelso Cemetery beside her late husband, Tom Golden. Higgins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
