Nettie McGee, 96, of rural Centerville died Tuesday morning, May 9 at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital. She was born January 7, 1893 at Unionville, MO. the daughter of John and Marie Schoonover Ranes. She was united in marriage to Clyde McGee at Unionville, MO. on April 7, 1931 and he survives. She was a Baptist, and had worked for Dr. and Mrs. Leffert and also worked for Steele packing. Survivors include her husband Clyde; and one daughter Mrs. Angeline(Clifford) McFarland; two grandchildren; one great grandchild and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosaline; one great grandson and twelve brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, Friday, May 12 at Johnson-Lange Funeral Home with the Rev. Emie Cook officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Ararat Cemetery east of Centerville. A visitation will be held from 7-8 pm Thursday at the Johnson-Lange Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to the 18-80 Club and may be left at the funeral home.
