Edith D. Iantorno, 1208 East Cross Street, Centerville, died Saturday, May 27, 1978, in Centerville Care Center, at the age of 89. Born in Unionville, Mo., September 7 [3], 1888, she was the daughter of John and Marie Schoonover Ranes. She was married to Matt Katich in Centerville in 1905, and he preceded her in death in 1946. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters. Surviving are two sons, John Katich of Centerville and Frank Katich of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Clyde (Nettie) McGee of Centerville and Della Henderson of Missouri; and one brother, Albert Ranes of Florida. Services were Tuesday, 3:30 p.m., at Johnson Funeral Home, with John Lewis officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.
