Peter Raden of Avon died Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. He was born in Germany in 1865 and came to America at the age of 12.

Surviving are Mrs. Raden and the following 10 children: Lawrence, St. Cloud; Mrs. Frank Jochum of Cold Spring; William of Tacoma WA; Mrs. Wm. Rooney, Duluth; Ben and Leo Raden of Milwaukee; Melvin and Mrs. Ralph Mahern of Avon; Mrs. George Shiek of Minneapolis; and Sgt. John P. Raden in the army. There are 35 grandchildren and two brothers - John Raden of St. Augusta; and Nicholas in Alabama; and two sisters, Mrs. John Keppers of Avon and Mrs. Margtaret House of Sauk Centre.
