LONG LIFE ENDED
Mrs. Gertrude Radden Passes Away at Advanced Age of seventy-Eight---
Mrs. Gertrude Radden, formerly of Avon, Minn., died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Matt Meyers, Wednesday morning, Feb. 1, at the age of 78 years, after three months of suffering. The end came peacefully.

Deceased leaves seven children, Mrs. Matt Meyers and Mrs. Frank House of Sauk Centre, Theodore and Peter J Radden and Mrs. Anna Heiring of Avon, John Radden of St. Cloud and Nick Radden of Chicago.

Mrs. Radden was born in Germany and came to this country in 1881. She made her home in Avon with the exception of five years when she lived with her daughter, Mrs. Meyers, here. The remains will be taken to Avon where the funeral will be held from St. Benedict's church, of which Mrs. Radden was a member for years.

Getrude's spouse is John Peter Radden.
Buried in Avon, this is according to the St. Benedict's church records (in latin). But, she is not on that list of people buried in St. Benedict's, this suggests that there is no existing gravestones. The new St. Benedict's cemetery began in 1923 and many of the graves were moved from the old cemetery to the new, but not all of them. Since there is no gravestones for her today, it is hard to say if they were moved to the new one or not. They may have been, but cannot tell. Either way, she was buried in Avon, and were originally buried in the Old St. Benedict Cemetery.
