She died Saturday, June 11, 1994, at Parkway Medical Center, Decatur. She was a native of Morgan County.

Survivors include sons, Edward Johnson, Fred Johnson, both of Trinity, Jimmy Johnson, Carencro, La., Leldon Johnson, Decatur; Elaine Holsonback, Hartselle, Shirley Braswell, St. Paul, Minn.; stepsons, Arlander Staggs, Athens, James Staggs, Savannah, Tenn., Ray Staggs, George Staggs, Malcom Staggs, all of Decatur, Rufus Staggs, Town Creek, Thomas Staggs, Somerville, Mike Staggs, Courtland; stepdaughters, Mary Arnold, Hartselle, Marie Scott, Billie Sue Cagle, both of Decatur, Faye Clayton, Sheffield, Nellie Thompson, Tuscumbia; sisters, Flora B.
