LELAND A. DUCKWORTH
Leland Albert Duckworth, 82, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Oct. 23 in Phoenix.
He was a retired carpenter and also worked in the bomber plant at Olfutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Neb. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rose K.; three daughters, Barbara Jean Schaal of Phoenix, Ariz.; Bonnie L. Knudson of Pearl City, Hawaii; and Billi Jo Koch of Loveland, Colo.; one son, Robert Lee of Wahoo, Neb.; four sisters, Dorotha Long and Leila McDonald both of Chariton; Wilma Hutchinson of Oskaloosa and Ina Jean Halferty of Mount Pleasant; three brothers, Ward and Duane both of Russell and Verlyn of Indianola; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 26 at the Green Acres Mortuary in Scottsdale, Ariz.
