From Holland St. John - "Myron was the son of Nehemiah and Elmena Freeman St John and was born on May 9, 1854 on the family farm in Clayton County, Iowa. He never married. He spent most of his life in and around Iowa. His profession was denistry which he practiced several years in Blair, Nebraska. Growing ill, he was forced to quit his practice and Myron returned to the home of his parents near the Clayton-Fayette county line where he died at the age of 33 years. He is burried at the side of his mother's marker in the Reed Cemetery."
