Mrs. Sarah Bennett
To Be Buried Here


Mrs. Sarah Bennett, a former resident of Lebanon and widow of John T. Bennett, died Sunday in Jasonville, Ind. The funeral will be held at the Central Christian church at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Carl H. Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Bennett is survived by the following children: Mrs. Steiert, of Chicago; Mrs. Blackburn, of California; Mrs. McYere, of Arkansas; Mrs. Espinoza, of California; Mrs. Hobson, of Alabama; Otha Bennett, of Bloomington; H. Omer Bennett, of Midland, Ind. Surviving also are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Sarah Bennett


The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Belle Bennett, widow of the late T. J. Bennett, and a former resident of this city, was held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Christian church at Lebanon. The Rev. Mr. Moore, of Indianapolis, who was Mrs. Bennett's pastor while she lived in Zionsville fifteen years ago, was in charge of the services.

Mrs. Bennett's children who attended were Otha Bennett, of Midland, Mrs. Nettie Blackburn, of Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. Roxie Hazel, of Chicago. Two other daughters, Mrs. Letha Hobson, of Greensboro, Ala., and Mrs. Elva Espinosa, of California, were not present.

Ruth Bryant, Midland, Mary Bennett of this city, and Helen Bowlby, of Chicago, were flower bearers.
