America married Abraham ("Abe") Filmore Pierce Twilligear, son of George Emanuel Twilligear and Hellen Eliza Harmon. They were married on Jan. 12, 1908 in Bangs, Brown Co, Texas. Together they had four children, a son and three daughters.
