Margie Wooten, 76, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove. She was a resident of Edinburgh.
Survivors include two sons, Ed Wooten of Columbus and Tom Wooten of Harrodsburg, Ky.; a daughter, Wanda Wooten of Columbus; two sisters, Annie Wade and Wanda Chandler, both of Edinburgh; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lilburn and Ethel (Williams) Fitch; her husband, Bulen Wooten; four sons, Huley, James, Bulen and Bobby Wooten; a daughter, Barbara Jean Wooten; two brothers, Willie Lee and Robert Fitch; and two sisters, Katherine Bartron and Dorothy Wooten.
The Rev. Lewis Burton will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday at Who So Ever Will Community Church, 623 S. Eisenhower Drive, Edinburgh. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh is handling arrangements.
