EDINBURGH -- Ethel Fitchpatrick, 89, of Edinburgh, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday at Johnson County Hospital. She was the widow of Lilburn Fitchpatrick who died in 1971.
Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Douglas Smith at 2 p.m. Thursday at Long Funeral Home, where calling will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Born Oct. 29, 1896, at Adair County, Ky., Mrs. Fitchpatrick was the daughter of Bremtet Fitch and Alice Williams Fitch.
Surviving are sons, Robert and Willie Fitch, both of Edinburgh; daughters, Annie Wade, Wanda Chandler, and Dorothy and Margie Wooten, all of Edinburgh, and Kathrie Barton of Salem; a sister, Maggie Pierce of Liberty, Ky.; 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
