She was the daughter of Lilburn and Ethel (Williams) Fitch. She married Donald Clifton Wade on March 28, 1953. He preceded her in death on July 10, 1999.
She is survived by sons, Donald R. (Rosemary) Wade of North Vernon, Robert L. (Barbara) Wade of Edinburgh, Roger D. Wade of Edinburgh and Bruce D. (Allison) Wade of Franklin; daughters, Doris A. (Steve) Feese of Columbus, Vera M. (John) Olmstead of Edinburgh; sister, Wanda (Robert) Chandler of Edinburgh; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a great-granddaughter; and brothers, Robert Fitch and Willie Fitch; and sisters, Dorothy Wooten, Katherine Barton and Margie Wooten.
She was a member of Edinburgh Full Gospel Church in Edinburgh. She formally was an employee of Amos-Hill Veneer in Edinburgh. She also worked as a nurse’s aide. She enjoyed spending time with her family, church, gardening, reading and crocheting.
Calling will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh. The funeral service will be conducted at noon Monday, March 23, 2015, by the Rev. Douglas Smith at Edinburgh Full Gospel Church, 507 W. Center Cross Street, with calling from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at noon. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
