Mrs. Clara Young. 81, of 1809 Fernwood St., died at 9:40pm yesterday at Grandview Hospital, Dayton, where she had been a patient since Aug. 19. She had been ill four years and bedfast for two weeks.
Mrs. Young was a native of Menifee County, Ky.
Surviving are her husband, John; a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Goforth, a son, Omer, in the U.S. Army, stationed at Monterey, Calif.; two brothers, Obediah Barker of Middletown and James Barker pf Forth Worth, Tex.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10am Saturday at the McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Wright officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9pm.
